Also we are going to be doing gowns for a Fashion show (In Edmonton, AB) on March 27th, called the Haute Era. We are showcasing gowns!! They will also be available online.

We are a proud sponsor of the first Miss dEdmonton contest produced by the dEdmonton Commitee, who are dedicated in celebrating all things Halloween here in Edmonton, Alberta. We donated a prize of a custom gory and bloody corset to the winner. Check back to see photos of the corset =)

What is next with Sweet Carousel? Photo shoots galore! We are working with a few known models around the world. So please check back for some eye candy =) Also our close friend Madeleine Horn is performing at the Playboy Mansion’s Halloween Event and we are dressing her for her performances.

I’m excited to say that the fashion week show was a huge hit! Some nice surprises and a lot of fun! Here is the video footage of the show in two parts.

I would like to thank the everyone that helped out. The talented models are the ones that made my show absolutely amazing. Everyone did their own hair and makeup since I wanted to show off the girls interesting style and show versatility of my corsets.

My ladies in the order of appearance: Jessica Matwie, Larissa Kovalenko, Zsazsa La Bitche, Danielle Coey, Ashley Cote, Jennifer Poley, Marissa Meekins, Ashley Fenrich, and Madeleine Horn.

Thanks to Cassie from Hellbound Hair for making custom fascinators to match the outfits. I rarely have the time to do the accessories and she made everyone look extra special. Her quality and workmanship is amazing.

And huge thanks to my lovely intern Britney Newman for assisting me with production of this collection and keeping me company (cause I’m usually hiding away being strange and alone most of the time haha). Also to my mother who is an amazing seamstress who assisted me when I got extremely stressed out.

And a shout to Mike Wiesner, Carol Chan, Mariusz Sikorski, Ernest of Studio-E for their photography and continued support of my work.

We are starting to wind down on events this year. One of our last planned events is Edmonton Fashion week for Fall/Winter. This might be our last show with fashion week so if you are located in Edmonton please check it out. It is September 22nd. More information can be found at Edmonton Fashion Week. I’ll be showcasing a fabulous Burlesque collection. There will be glitter, crystals, feathers and fringe galore! Definitely going to be one of our best shows!!

Guest models will again be Madeleine Horn, who I have just completed a custom corset and jacket for. She will be wearing then during her performance at the Montreal Fetish Weekend which is quite exciting. ZsaZsa LaBitche is coming back for a visit from Toronto to grace the stage as well — she is definitely a crowd favorite. There are other Edmonton gals from some burlesque troupes and some of the usual favorites. Please come and join us =)

I have just collaborated with Parlour again for their next exciting editorial, we were all very pleased with it. The moment the magazine comes out I will post photos =)

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy International Gothic Lolita Day! I’m a big fan of the Japanese alternative culture and have participated in some local gothic lolita related festivals. Soon enough you will spot a few corsets that are lolita inspired in the online shop ;) And maybe one day I will release a collection of lolita dresses to the public ;)
